Each week in Grace Kids’ Worship, we start out with our activity
centers until around 11:15 AM. Then we come together for our large
group experience. During the large group time, the children hear stories
from the Bible and learn about Biblical virtues in lots of fun ways. Each
month we focus on a different virtue, and we also work on learning a
memory verse that goes along with the month’s virtue.
After our large group time, we divide up into small groups—1st &
2nd grade girls, 1st & 2nd grade boys, 3rd & 4th grade girls and 3rd & 4th
grade boys. In the small group setting the children go over the large
group lesson in more detail by participating in application activities,
playing games to learn the month’s memory verse and praying with their
small group leader. The children also receive their “GodTime Cards”
during their small group time. These cards serve as a devotional that
reinforce what’s being learned on Sunday morning. It’s for your child to
do alone or with your help. Children earn a prize when they turn in any
completed cards to their small group leader.
When you come to pick up your child, you will receive a “Fridge
Door Card”. This is a valuable resource for you to use, along with the
“GodTime Card” in reviewing what your child has learned on Sunday.
